ON
STIPULATION OF TEXT OF INDONESIAN COSMETIC CODES 2ND EDITION VOLUME I
AS CONDITIONS FOR QUALITY OF COSMETICS MATERIAL WHICH APPLICABLE IN INDONESIA

MINISTER OF HEALTH OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,

Considering :

• a. that as an implementation of Law No. 23 on Health, it is necessary to stipulate the applicable Indonesian Cosmetic Codex.
• b. that Indonesian Cosmetic Codex Edition I need to be revised in accordance with the needs and the scientific development.
• c. that text of Indonesian Cosmetic Codex Edition II Volume I on cosmetic materials being work of Committee for Indonesian Cosmetic Codex need to be ratified as replacement of Indonesian Cosmetic Codex Edition I.

In view of :

• 1. The Constitution Article 17 paragraphs (1) and (3).
• 2. Law No. 23/1992, on Health Article 40, paragraph (2).
• 3. Decree of the Minister of Health R.I. No. 1025/Men.Kes/S.K/XI/1992 on Establishment of Committee for Indonesian Cosmetic Codex.

DECIDES:

To stipulate :

First

To affirm the text of Indonesian Cosmetic Codex Edition II Volume I as quality requirements of cosmetic materials applicable in Indonesia.

Second

To revoke the Decree of the Minister of Health R.I No.85/Men.Kes/S.K/1981 dated March 4, 1981 on Validity of Indonesian Cosmetic Codex Edition I.

Third

This Decree comes into force as from April 1, 1994.
